ReplyDeleteWell one certainly can see how they came to be named White-tailed deer. Our Mule deer have a tail nothing like these. The tail serves as a warning sign when danger is near. "Follow me!"
ReplyDeleteGrace they are spooked. they only lift their tails when they are....bet you tapped on the new window.
ReplyDeleteBy the way unless you have a thousand acres they have to be culled...it's a posh word for shot. Very good eating they are. Healthy too but not for them of course.
